Our Mission

Since 1997, Mission: Ignite has existed to end the digital divide in Buffalo, WNY, and surrounding areas. Many people lack the resources necessary to purchase a computer or get the technical training needed to use them. At the same time, rapid technology change means that over 2 million tons of hazardous e-waste is created in the U.S each year. Mission: Ignite addresses this by refurbishing technology and providing STEM training to the Buffalo community and surrounding areas.

Used & Refurbished Computers

Looking to pick up used computers in Buffalo NY? Our Computer Store sells everything from refurbished laptops to high-quality, low-cost desktop computers. Whatever your level of experience, our friendly staff are happy to answer your questions and help you find the solution you need. You can visit the Mission: Ignite Store in Buffalo or purchase desktops and laptops online. Tech 360

Tech 360 is the culmination of Mission: Ignite's over 26 years of experience in technology refurbishment and training. Through our Tech 360 program, we provide capacity-building solutions in partnership with community organizations to provide computer skills training to those in need. At Mission: Ignite, we're all about bridging the digital divide and coming alongside community workers. We use our AmeriCorps program, refurbished technology, and dedicated team of community changers to create a customized solution for partner communities that best serve their populations.

AmeriCorps and Buffalo Internships

Our Buffalo Internship Program equips students with the basic technical and employability skills needed to succeed in future careers. Jobs in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) are in high demand, and our program lays the foundation for future success. Learn how to fix computers from start to finish through our work-based IT internship program or become an educator-in-training through our STEM teacher internship program. Best yet, participants earn a stipend through AmeriCorps.
